What is Upswing?
Upswing is a career coach and mentor for your whole career, whatever direction you take it, plus a job search that finds, scores and applies to roles for you. It is made by Digital Foundry and is invite only during its pilot.
Who is Upswing for?
Anyone, in any kind of work and at any stage: a first job, stepping up, changing fields, coming back after a break, leading, or an encore career.
What does the career coach do?
It sends tips tailored to you every Monday, nudges you when an application needs attention, builds interview prep from your own resume, and answers questions about your search. Help with performance reviews, career paths and options, and the foundations of new skills is rolling out during the pilot. It drafts; you decide. It never sends anything for you.
Where does Upswing find jobs?
On employers’ own job boards (Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby) and on job aggregators (Himalayas, Remotive and RemoteOK). You can also paste a job link from anywhere. More boards, job-alert emails and community sources are coming soon. Upswing does not scrape LinkedIn.
How are jobs scored?
Every role gets a fit score out of 100 against your experience, with the one plain reason it is not higher. It is a starting point, not a hiring prediction.
Does Upswing apply to jobs for me?
Only if you turn on auto-apply and set its limits. Sensitive questions always come back to you, and live sending is rolling out during the pilot.
How much does Upswing cost?
During the invite-only pilot, your first 30 days are on us and no card is needed. Paid plans: coming soon. See the pricing page.
How do I get an invite?
Request one at upswing.work. Invites go out a few at a time.
Is my data private?
Your search and coaching are grounded in your own data and are not shared with other users. You can export or delete your account yourself, and sign-in uses a one-time code, with no password to steal.

No. The presenter in Upswing’s videos is an AI avatar.
